Chinese press speculated that the current Jeonbuk Hyundai captain Cho Sung-Hwan is chased by Beijing Guoan of China.
The 30 year old centre back will see his contract with Jeonbuk expire at the end of the year and might head to the Chinese capital club as a free transfer.
Cho Sung-Hwan previously played for various clubs including Suwon Samsung, Pohang Steelers, Consadole Sapporo (Japan) and joined Jeonbuk in 2010. He has played a vital role leading his club to win the league and become runners-up in the Asian Champions League in 2011, but has suffered from intermittent injuries.
