Olympique Lyonnais keeping an eye on Yoon Bit-Garam

According to Korean press, Olympique Lyonnais (Olympique Lyon) is interested in Seongnam’s midfielder, Yoon Bit-Garam.


Recently, scouts from Olympique Lyonnais reportedly visited Tancheon Sports Complex to watch Yoon Bit-Garam.

Yoon Bit-Garam is currently going through the worst season of his career – he was dropped out of the South Korean Men’s Football Team for the 2012 London Olympics which eventually won the Bronze medal, and has been criticized by fans of Seongnam for lack of effort.


Daegu FC Will Not Extend Contract With Pereira Moacir

Daegu FC announced that the club has decided not to extend contract with the current manager Pereira Moacir. Even though Moacir spent a great season at Daegu, the club could not afford wages of Moacir and three other Brazilian coaches due to financial difficulties.


Moacir has reportedly received offers from China and the Middle East. 

Meanwhile, Daegu FC announced that the current assistant coach Dang Sung-Jeung will be appointed as a new manager.

Cho Won-Hee Chased by Wuhan Zall FC

According to various Chinese media, South Korean defender Cho Won-Hee is targeted by Wuhan Zall FC of China.


The 29 year old South Korean spent two seasons at Guangzhou Evergrande, but will see his contract expire at the end of the season. He has reportedly rejected offers from Japan and Korea and decided to join Wuhan Zall, which gained promotion to Chinese Super League next season.

Suwon City FC joins the new professional second division

Suwon City FC in the Korean National League is set to join the newly established Korean professional second division.


Some reliable sources today stated that Suwon City FC has been preparing to enter the professional second division that will be launched next season. 

“Suwon City FC is ready. Official announcement will be made sometime in this week.”

Sergio Escudero completes full transfer to FC Seoul

Recently, FC Seoul’s director Lee Jae-Ha announced that FC Seoul completed full transfer of Sergio Escudero, who joined Seoul from Urawa Reds of Japan on a loan deal in July.


“Escudero contributed to the team, with a different style from Mauricio Molina or Dejan Damjanović,” said Lee Jae-Ha. “We acknowledged his contribution and signed him completely with a three-year contract.”

FC Seoul recently became the league champion, and the 24 year old naturalized-Japanese was loved by fans for his dribbling skills and strength.

Shanghai Shenhua targeting Yoo Byung-Soo

Shanghai Shenhua is reportedly interested in Al Hilal’s South Korean forward Yoo Byung-Soo.



The big-money club seems to have chosen Yoo Byung-Soo as an Asian quota replacement for Joel Griffiths, who is very likely to leave the club after this season.

Yoo Byung-Soo, who was the K-League top scorer in 2010, joined Al Hilal from Incheon United in 2011.

Shandong Luneng Striker Han Peng Linked With Pohang Steelers

Chinese press suggested that Shandong Luneng forward Han Peng may move to Pohang Steelers after this season.


Having spent most of this season in the bench, Han Peng will be ready to move to a new club and the Korean giant Pohang Steelers has been keeping an eye on the 29 year old.

Pohang Steelers has reportedly sent a scout to check him a couple of times and may make a bid to sign him as an Asian quota to strengthen the forward line.
