Team Classic and Team Challenge draw in the 2013 K-League All-Star Game

Team Classic and Team Challenge drew 3-3 on Friday’s K-League All-Star Game.


K-League decided to hold this year’s All-Star Game in the form of K-League Classic (First division) All-Star versus K-League Challenge (Second division) All-Star. Both teams made full effort to entertain the fans.

In the 22nd minute, Team Classic’s classic goalscorer Lee Dong-Gook scored from a penalty. 3 minutes later, Dejan Damjanović added another goal for Team Classic.

Team Challenge’s superstar Yeom Ki-Hoon then scored with a brilliant shot in the 26th minute.


Halfway past the second half, Team Challenge put guest players Ki Sung-Yeung, Koo Ja-Cheol, Lee Chung-Yong and Yoon Suk-Young onto the field. The influence was immediate; Koo Ja-Cheol scored a goal from Ki Sung-Yeung’s pass. 3 minutes later, Alex added another goal to put Team Challenge in front for the first time in the match.


Team Classic’s North Korean striker Jong Tae-Se then scored an equalizer seconds before the final whistle to end the game in a 3-3 draw.
