Yoon Suk-Young is transferring to Queens Park Rangers in the English Premier League.

His current club Chunnam Dragons announced on Wednesday that the 22-year-old left-back has left Thailand, where Chunnam has been staying for winter training, to receive a medical test in London for Queens Park Rangers.

Details of the deal have not been disclosed yet, but QPR has reportedly paid almost twice the amount of buy-out fee for Yoon Suk-Young. Chunnam Dragons had set the buy-out fee of $700,000 (approximately 0.5million pounds) but QPR paid around $1 million ( 0.8 million pounds) for the South Korean.

Yoon Suk-Young, who is a product of Chunnam Dragons’ famous youth system, has grabbed attention of European clubs during the 2012 Olympic Games in which he helped South Korean men’s football team win bronze medal. He was originally linked with various clubs such as AC Milan, Werder Bremen and Manchester City, but Queens Park Rangers eventually snatched the talented left-back.
