It is reported that POSCO, the owner of Chunnam Dragons, has decided to forgive Lee Chun-Soo and let him come back to the scene from temporary expulsion.

According to Korean media Daily Sports, Chung Mong-Joon, the current honorary vice president of FIFA and former president of the Korea Football Association, made two phone calls to Chung Joon-Yang, the CEO of POSCO, and asked to forgive Lee Chun-Soo. It was told that Chung Joon-Yang repliced positively and Chunnam could forgive Lee Chun-Soo.

As Lee Chun-Soo is ready to return to the football scene, Ulsan Hyundai and Incheon United have reportedly made inquiries on the 31 year old star player. While both clubs are worried about his fitness, Lee Chun-Soo has shown desire to play football without receiving any wage.

Lee Chun-Soo joined Chunnam on loan from Feyenoord in 2009, but he left the club after making disputes on the contract with the staff. In 2012, he met Park Hang-Seo and other coaches who were at Chunnam at the time, asking for forgiveness. In the last several matches of 2012 season, he visited Chunnam’s Gwangyang Football Stadium and asked Chunnam fans for forgiveness.
