Jong Tae-Se: I want to join Suwon, not Daejeon

24 Dec

North Korean striker Jong Tae-Se (also spelled as Chong Tae-Se) revealed his wish to join Suwon Samsung. He reportedly confirmed in a phone call with Jun Jong-Gu, the chairman of Daejeon Citizen FC, that he only considers Suwon as his next club.

“I’d rather stay at 1. FC Köln than go to Daejeon.” the 28 year old powerful North Korean reportedly stated.

While Jong Tae-Se’s heart is already at Suwon, his current club 1. FC Köln hopes to sell him to Daejeon, who has made a better bid. Suwon and Daejeon, who have formed a rivalry over the last decade, seem to be in conflict again.
